Hey, I did that chicken thing to get into the well early...
I did it so that I could get the black gloves ( If you've heard about the different coloured gauntlets glitch, then you know what I'm talking about )
But all of the treasure chests down here have had blue rupees... Not bombs or bombchu...
So... What the Hell?
I'm playing it on the VC if that makes a difference
