Only time matches on wifi?

From the videos of wi-fi all i've seen are 2 minute time matches. Are we going to be able to play stock matches or any other type cause I really don't like time matches...

With Friends WiFi matches has stocks and all of this and that. It's just "WITH ANYONE" that is 2 minutes only.

I'd like to know if you can play Custom Stages on With Friends...

Ya ive been seeing the same too....It doesn't look like they give you that option. Its a d@mn shame if it's true. Stocks are the best.

I believe that is part of the limitation of 'With Anyone' mode- it's extremely stripped-down compared to With Friends mode and meant to basically give you a way to shovel yourself into an online match as quickly as possible.

Tragic, but that'd be part of the reason I'm back- when I eventually get a Wii and Brawl, I'll be needing Friend Codes to avoid With Anyone mode as much as possible.

Yeah, I really wish that "with anyone" offered more variety (as in both Stock and Time). I don't mind Time, its just not my favorite way to play.

I'm fairly certain With ANyone also features team. But since team attack is off, its a little broken.

Not really worth complaining over too much. With Friends can be tailored how we like it and with the friend codes finder, there never will be a shortage of players looking for challanges.

Nope. Custom Maps cannot be played online at all. The tab for it isn't there.

Adding friends shouldn't be too much of a problem if you use the SWF Matchmaking tool. Information is stickied at the top.

ugh, I don't mind time I guess, but I absolutely cannot stand 4 player matches; 1 on 1 only please

Does anyone know for wifi matches friends or anyone, can you have two people plugged into the same wii and find other people to play with, like partying up?
I know this is off topic but its the closest I could find without starting a new thread
