Online without PJ64k?

Apologies if this isn't allowed, but i'll continue:

Is it possible to go online without PJ64k? This is because PJ64k does not work for me, no matter how hard I try, it will never detect my controller input (other version of PJ64 do, but not PJ64k). I've downloaded plugins, even renamed them, but nothing works.

So is there any alternative? Or am I out of luck?

You can try to use mupen64k, which works for vista, when pj doesn't.

what kind of a controller are you using?

You can try to use mupen64k, which works for vista, when pj doesn't.

Project64k WORKS for vista

(kinda buggy, but it works)

if you have vista.......look up Project 64k on Vista on youtube
If you don't have vista.....delete it completeley, re download it and download the rom from a notable source (coolroms or others)
If that still doesn't work, get Mupen or try p2p

I'm using Vista [SP1 though]. PJ64k works fine. Problem is though, it doesn't work when you first get it, you HAVE to:

1) Get JaboDirect3D8 [renamed as 7]. 7 does not work.
2) Dunno if this is required, but right click it, compatibility, Windows 98/ME mode, and "Run as Administrator".

Mupen64 is your best bet. But fugget about it if you're using AVG and don't want to get rid of it. <_<

lol I have AVG too... Just tell the program to ignore Mupen when it comes to the virus fake alert... U_U'
