Online Tournaments

Hey everyone, I'm new here obviously as you can see from my post count.

Anyway, down to the main point. Do you guys think that there will be some sort of Online tournaments if the Online gameplay was smooth and fast?(Unlike Brawl)

Tournaments that could earn you some prizes ofcourse. Like money, games etc...

that would great, I would join every tournament. They should do it like FIFA's online cup mode.

I'd think this could be done easily enough by just some dedicated smashers, I was considering doing something similar for 3DS Smash at least

I could definitely see online tournaments taking off as long as they give online matches the same customization as offline matches (stock/time, items on/off, etc). This would also greatly increase the amount of matches that can be recorded/uploaded, much like with Street Fighter 4.
