Online Multiplayer

From what I understand, Super Smash Bros: Brawl will feature an online multiplayer mode. If this is true, has Nintendo announced what kind of online multiplayer games will be around?

Will there be a tournament multiplayer mode like in the Gamecube version?

Will you only be able to join 4 player ffa games?

Will you be able to make 2v2 teams?

Will there be a ranking?

I understand that there is probably very limited information about the online multiplayer mode, but if you could share what you know I would be thankful.

Also, another question unrelated to SSB:B...are there currently any online multiplayer wii games released? Is there a monthly fee for using Nintendo's online multiplayer feature?

No monthly fee, Mario Strikers Charged, Pokemon Battle Revolution.

nothing has been announced yet. those options seem very likely to be in. I think online is free . not really any good online ones yet. (barely any)

All we know is that there will be online for Brawl and there will most likley be no ranking system/
