Hello, I am Attenti0n. Super Smash Bros. Wii U has an amazing online competitive scene to the point where i believe that the online mode is without a doubt the definitive way to play the game. There are 2 main modes. For Fun, and For Glory, and those are the way I will address the thread. Now, without any further delay let's get on with it.
For Fun
It is without any doubt that For Fun is the less-definitive part of this amazing ssb4 online mode. You are put into a map with 2 minutes to get the most kills. I personally enjoy it whenever I just want to relax and not get to competitive about smash. For Fun dose not affect your Global Smash Power. Unlike It's competitive counterpart, For Fun only has 2 main ways to play. Smash and Team Smash. It is fun and has some competitive people in it. But for the most part I would hop into it most if I just picked up smash.
For Glory
For Glory is the most competitive thing to come out of Sakurai's head that the Tournament players didn't transform into a game like Call Of Duty, or Tekken. And I love this more competitive side. It has modes too. Smash, Team Smash, and 1 on 1. Smash being the most hectic, and 1 on 1 being the most competitive. If you're a beginner you should not go on and For Glory unless you've had past experiences. Unless you will get destroyed. Overall I love For Glory but make sure to go in with the more advanced knowledge in your head. If you don't know what Tilts, Recoveries, Edge Guarding, Camping, or Half-Jump is, then stick to For Fun.
If you made it this far thank you, because I feel like this was way to long for a normal thread. Which Online mode do you like more? For Fun, or For Glory. Answer in the poll.
