Obviously reducing lag is the number 1 priority when it comes to improving online play; but what are some other fixes that we can incur?
Instead of For Glory and For Fun -> Ranked and Non-Ranked.
Similar to tournament mode, players have the option to create their own games or join a selected game (instead of it being a randomly selected process). The host can set the rules, such as: stages, stock, time, items, customs (mii's as well) before the match, and you can view the rules before joining. These games can be both ranked and non-ranked. Ranked matches are obviously recorded, and perhaps even a ranking system could be implemented where can we view the top players in our region, country, or potentially even the world. These rankings could include most kills, most wins, most deaths, most losses, highest winning percentage (min. # of matches required) etc..
But above all I would like to see an option that mirrors this, so a friend can join your game and you can team up against other players.
