Online friend issue

Has anyone ever had this weird issue?

I'll be online and it will say no-one is online on my friend list.

Then, I'll log off come back online and everyone will be online on my friend list.....

that has happened to me before. probably just needs time to load who is online.

I've had a similar problem, but nothing as drastic as everyone appearing online in my list at once.

I'm guessing it's the lag in between systems which makes the online status of friends a bit skewed. It's just a guess though.
