its not so bad here but gamefaqs is flooded with them right now, im posting here bcuz i know that atleast people will see this and cazzies ( casual elitists ) dont know about this place ( i hope )

im sorry for this and i know that people are fed up about this , as am i, but i just have to say something and hopefully some people agree.

i am not a pro, i would get lit at a tourney im sure, though i do enjoy this game with tourney rules, in fact i prefer no items on dreamland, fountain, destination, etc. and i am pretty good, i guy a play with absolutley pwnz with falcon, his fingers just move soo fast its unreal, anyway...

all i see these days are cazzies laughing at all the pros about how theyre gunna lose now bcuz theyll suxorz at brawl, they just dont understand that they are just bad at the game and there going to get pwned online in brawl

ive suggested a few times, though no one manned up to it, that we make a topic where all th cazzies will post there smash codes and we can prove to them that we dont NEED lcancel and WD to beat them (like i said i am actually decent)

anyway /rant just had to get sumthin off my chest

If you watch some of the Brawl vids on Youtube you'll realize how hostile some casual players are towards the whole competetive scene. That's quite silly if you asked me. Everyone has the right to play their games like they want.

The argument (though i don't condone it) Is that in melee, competetive players overall used either fox, falco, marth, roy and shiek and played on final destination with no items.

In my opinion there are far more fun ways to play melee, but items are just to dependant on luck and not on skill, which is why there tourney banned.

I think Cazzies resent the limitations that pros put on matches, while pros resent Cazzies who try to win using some luck and not all with skill

I always play with items and any stage since a truly skilled person should be good enough to deal with anything. Others don't agree with that, fine its all opinions. But especially with online now why do people even care? The majority of people play with items so if a smaller group want to have a game played the way THEY want, who cares? Noone is forcing you to follow them... have a mind of your own.

I think in brawl, with the size of the community and the inclusion of online matches means there will be room for the ANY item, ANY stage PROS, the no item Final Destination fox PROS and everyone who falls in between these extremes.

I think the misconception that if you don't play items you can't be a pro is what has got to stop.
