Olimar's Size Explained

In Pikmin 2, if you collect a mushroom, Olimar's notes state this: "According to the ship's analysis, you'll grow into a giant if you eat one of these. I'D LIKE TO FIELD TEST ONE OF THESE BABIES. I wonder what would happen if I fed one to a purple Pikmin..."

There you go, he ate the Mushroom titles the Growshroom.

Kirby can easilly inflate himself to any desirable size. The only reason he isn't the size of a Wailord is because he is an honarable fighter.

Yes well, King DeDeDe can't very well do that, and he grew proportionately to Kirby.
Oh and what about Bowser...

Nice joke topic.

If anyone's actually interested, the way sizing works in Smash is that a character's size is proportional to how they appear in their own games.

So even though Kirby's 8 inches tall, he appears in a size ratio that's native to his own game. Olimar is the same way, he's probably the size of Mario's toe realistically.

Speaking realistically about video game characters is kinda silly if you think about it. Not to ruin Christmas for any of you, but Olimer doesn't actually exist 0,o Anyway, to make use of fan lore thread while keeping its topic, does crouching make Oli noticeably smaller still? One of the biggest strengths of Olimer right now is his tiny size, its a much smaller target to hit than an average character, and can probably explain to some degree the success of Olimer players in these early videos, no ones that precise yet. It'd be great to know and maybe even useful if a crouching/crawling Oli can avoid certain attacks, especially things like Spacie's lasers.

Yeah, the size in Smash is like taking what the character appears on screen and translating it into Smash.

everyone already knows they just steal the models from the other games XD thats why they are the exact same size as the game they appear in.
