I know in For Glory pretty much anything goes, but I'm starting to see game breaking tactics and it's starting to piss me off. I was playing against someone else in two matches. First it was Sheik, then next it was Lucina.

In the match against Sheik, the other player went over the edge, and then STUCK to the wall, while I was recovering on the edge. I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things. WTF is the point of knocking your opponent off the stage is they can just stick to the cliff like Spider-Man?

The Lucina match was even worse. When my opponent got knocked off the stage high into the air, he/she just used Lucina's Neutral B charge attack, and then GLIDED BACK onto the stage!

Is this your idea of a balanced game, Sakurai? Because if it is, then I'm pretty much done with this franchise...

I don't mean to sound harsh, but You just need to adapt to that. They won't stick to the wall forever, so use that time to think about approach, and force an opening. I use both sheik and Lucario and there are matches where I get totally bodied because the people will adapt to how I play and I cant adapt to that fast enough. I'm not the greatest player by any stretch but I know that to be decent it takes adapting to what other players do.

Wait a minute can we start by estblishing something?

You know this isn't a bug, right? That there is a skill some characters have called a wall cling that is just part of their kit? And that if they're doing it you can just... you know... hit them off? Especially if you read the jump.

And that gliding with neutral B has been a thing across multiple titles?

So starting with that, then we can move to what's normal; both of these are easily punished. The entire charge animation and stab Lucina does can simply be canned by attacking her from the top, bottom, or behind. Anywhere the pointy end isn't. And once she commits to flying forward by charging she must do the attack. That's a free stock... for YOU.

That you're complaining about. An easy free stock. I mean wall clinging at least offers options even though it normally gets people accidentally killed more often than anything remotely good happens, so it's an only partially free stock, but now you're complaining about Lucina's awkward recovery option?

That's ludicrous.

I didn't want to ruin his fun, but I wasn't agreeing with him...that was me after reading this.

I totally agree with your gripes about Lucina. I believe that if I knock someone off the stage, that should be the end of their stock. None of this "recovery" nonsense - I hit you off, I win.

Either you're a troll or straddling the the line of mental ***********. these moves both existed in other games, and neither of them are actually very effective... Please quit smash bros, the community doesn't need players who can't handle when players use the most basic of recovery options. Some characters have better recovery than others, and actually lucina's would kind of suck without that tactic. Sheik didn't need the wall stick, but her and geninja get it to fit with the ninja theme. I use the wall stick sometimes, but only to stagger my recovery so i don't get ledge guarded. Also people need to stop blaming their losses on sakurai, that's just absurd, you lost because you are unable to adapt to a new tactic, so maybe rather than complaining about it and offering meaningless threats to quit smash bros, just prepare for it next time... Or learn the game before you go online so you don't get surprised when players don't just let you kill them. Smash boards needs a salt detecting device that prevents people from making posts directly after a loss on FG. Either you adapt and get better, or you quit. Nobody really cares which option you pick.

No, if that was a troll post, I would have uploaded something from 4chan.
