Offstage counter gimping against Ike's recovery.

How do you get around this? If you can't recover horizontally, but you need to Aether, what do you do when they're going to counter you off stage repeatedly?

Disrupt the timing. Start aether early/late. I prefer early so you can VI up and give you some space to try again/QD to the edge. Sometimes counter attacks the other way if the attack hits their back. That method also works. It's difficult to counter aether while infront of it vs. from above, so messing up the timing should be fairly easy to do.
