Who does'nt remember playing the Blue/Red/Green/Yellow version of Pokemon?
It was surely the most captivating and memorable game of the series and I'm sure it is the game where Pokemon should dig up his antagonist. Most precisly the game should take Giovanni as the bad guy, he could be a PC character (controlling Pokemons in a PKMN trainer style) or at least should be a boss in the Subspace Emmisary.
He was the head of Team Rocket who was a major part of the 1st Generation (AKA the best Generation) and was encountered several times through the game. However he failed to reapear in the 2nd one, being only mentioned on Cinnabar Island, his son managed to appear in Gold/Silver/Crystal as your rival and shows the same attitude as his father toward Pokemons treating them as objects and thinking of them only as a way to gain wealth.
Since FireRed/LeafGreen, Giovanni failed to show up, but still represented the evil criminal formation leader. Brawl would be a good way to get indept the character.
In the anime Giovanni was identical pratically in all ways, exept one: his beloved Persian!
That Pokemon made him look more diabolical by making him look like Ernst Stavro Blofled (James Bond's former archnemesis) and added him more personality. Also, he seemed to be respected by his minions and alway showed great care of his favorite pet (Persian) wich adds him even more information to the character. He seems to react really hard toward failures (The most-known Team Rocket Trio)
He even had an important role in a stage musical (PokemonLive!) where he was again associated with the legendary Pokemon Mewtwo (he also had been connected to Mewtwo in three movies who did really add background history to the character). If he still is in the anime is unknown to me but I remember he was here in the beggining.
Giovanni's Pokemons would be: Persian (the quick light-weighted), Mewtwo (the balanced, projectile-based character) and another heavy character (Rhydon, Kanghaskan ect.)
He does'nt have high chances but is still a potential character.
So what do you think?
