As we all know, Subspace is a new mode introduced in Brawl. I've searched for previous threads and none of them had much popularity or they weren't an overall character storymode thread. This thread basically talks about story mode ideas for different Brawl characters, based on what is confirmed so far. Please remember these are ideas and not confirmed to be in the game, if you don't like my ideas don't flame me, but tell me that you disagree. Thank you. I will also be updating this, so be patient with what I give you.
Kirby
Kirby's cutscene will feature Kirby in the city enjoying himself while eating. He is appraoched by Tiff and Tuff who gives him bad news, in which Kirby replies with a blank look on his face. Kirby then runs off to investigate the bad news he'd just recieved. Kirby's storyline will be mostly centered around characters from his series. You will encounter enemies from the Kirby series in Subspace as well as absorb them to copy their power like in the early Kirby games. This will take place in what looks to be Dreamland. Once making it through you will have a cutscene, where Kirby will meet up with Metaknight in order to test his skill. After beating Metaknight( it is possible you may unlock him this way), he will send you off to make your way to the final boss battle. Here you will have a cutscene featuring King DDD and then do battle with him. After beating him you will unlock him. To be continued....
Pikachu/Pokemon Trainer
This storyline will take place in a city or place centered around Pokemon. You will start with a cutscene of Professor Oak telling you about disturbances he's been hearing about in the Pokemon world and send you on your mission to find out what's out there and stop it. As you make your way through defeating various subspace enemies with your Pokemon you will then go through a cutscene in which you are transported onto the Halberd by surprise. The cutscene will continue as PT or Pikachu wonders around and suddenly come into a lab. The lab will contain a Mewtwo within a chamber, sleeping, as PT or Pikachu walks by it, Mewtwo's eyes will open and he will bust out of the chamber. Having no choice you will enter a Pokemon battle with Mewtwo, the only items you will have use of is Pokeballs as well as your Pokemon characters. Once defeating Mewtwo(you will unlock him). Mario
Of course this portion will take part in Mushroom Kingdom. You will start off with a cutscene of Mario and gang(Luigi, possibly Wario) and a lovely day in Mushroom Kingdom. All of a sudden you recieve news that Bowser is up to his dastardly deeds again, he's kidnapped Princess Peach and wreaked havoc across the kingdom, and you go out on your adventure. You will make your way through Subpace fighting different Mario enemies, such as Goomba, Koopas, and before entering your fight with Bowser you'll fight Hammer Bro. The cutscene will then show Mario coming to Peach's rescue and challenges Bowser to a fight. Little did Mario know he was at an unfair advantage as Bowser Jr. was right behind him giggling, with that the cutscene ends and you enter a 2-1 battle or 2-2(Luigi co-op)( Dry Bones and Hammer Bros may make a sudden appearance to aid Bowser). Once you defeat these 2 you unlock Bowser Jr. and a cutscene will show you and Peach in happiness leaving Bowser and his son behind. To be continued....
Mario and Sonic Meet Again(alternate storyline)
As you guys saw in the "Sonic Joins the Brawl", there will be a cutscene. Mario will be in a battle with an enemy, which he will defeat( it could be Goomba, Koopa, etc.) Sonic will then run by you like in the video and Mario will look around. Seeing constant blue blurs, Mario decides to put a stop to it and attacks with a fireball which is easily dodged and Sonic then appears in Mario's path. Claiming that they had some unfinished business, Sonic smiles and the cutscene ends. After doing battle with Sonic, another cutscene comes as an explosion intervenes with the battle and stops the 2 from fighting each other. The explosion was discovered to have come from Robotnik in a robot, who then tells Sonic he is going to destroy him. Sonic ignores Mario for a quick second and tries to defeat Robotnik alone, but fails to do any damage alone. Mario, out of respect, then offers to help Sonic and Sonic agrees. The cutscene ends and you go to a boss battle with Sonic as your teammate. After defeating Eggman you will unlock Sonic. Another cutscene will come and show Mario and Sonic shaking hands and saying that they may cross paths again one day. With that Mario and Sonic both leaves in the opposite direction. With that, you go back to the Subspace and continues Mario's adventure to Bowser.
Diddy Kong and DK
This will take place in DK Country. The cutscene will start with Diddy and DK chilling at a house up in a tree. Cranky Kong is there also rocking in his rocking chair with his eyes closed. A close up on his face shows him opening up his eyes as if he had been expecting something. Suddenly Kremling crash through the roof and Cranky easily takes care of him and tells DK and Diddy that more Kremling will be coming and to go out and stop them. The cutscene will then end and you will make your way through Subspace as Diddy or DK or both(co-op). You will meet various Kremling and banana peels will also be a hazard. Barrels(some will be cannons to help you make it through the area) will also show up in this Subspace story line making it seem more like DK Country. Once you make it through, a cutscene will show DK and Diddy finding who's behind all this and of course it will be none other than King K. Rool. He will then challenge you to a match in which the main objective is to defeat him and at the end of the cutscene 2 Kremling will jump in front of him(hinting that the battle will be a 3-1 or 3-2). Once beating King K Rool you will unlock him. A cutscene will then show DK and Diddy embrace in their victory and a Cranky head(ghost or hallucination) will appear, telling them good job. Bowser
Bowser's story would begin with a cutscene of the Koopa King sitting at his throne in his castle. Bored of just sitting there Bowser starts to think of a plan and decides to wreak havoc in Mushroom Kingdom. The cutscene will end with Bowser walking towards the Kingdom with Koopas of many kinds by his side. From there you will make your way towards the Kingdom in Subspace. Another cutscene will show Bowser and his army of Troopa invading Mushroom Kingdom(breaking glass, destroying things, etc.) Bowser will be making his way to the Castle with 2 Hammer Bros when the cutscene ends. From here you will go through Subspace to make it to the castle in the middle of Mushroom Kingdom. You will encounter many Toads on your way to the castle(some may be armed) You will only be allowed to use Hammer Bro ATs and shell items on this part of Subspace. Once you make it to the castle entrance, a cutscene will show 2 Hammer Bros making easy work of Toads and Bowser busting open the castle door. He will then approach Peach, who's sitting at her throne, but all of a sudden both Mario and Luigi will appear out of nowhere in between Bowser and the princess. The Hammer Bros will step up as if they were going to fight Mario and Luigi, and the cutscene will end. You will fight both Mario and Luigi in a 2-1 battle and also have the use of Hammer Bro ATs. Once beating them, you will unlock Luigi and another cutscene will show Mario and Luigi laying on the ground in defeat. and Bowser along with the Hammer Bros will kidnap Peach and take her back to Bowser's Castle. Fox
Fox's cutscene will start with him in the midst of a battle with different ships, along with his crew( Falco, Slippy, etc.) After a long hard battle of destroying ships, the Halberd appears and nearly kills some of Fox's teammates. They attempt to destroy the Halberd, but nothing seems to do much to it. Fox decides to take it out from the source, putting on his gear and exiting his ship. The cutscene ends with Fox using Fire Fox and flying towards the Halberd. From there you will will fight your way through Subspace, on the deck of the Halberd. Robotic enemies such as R.O.B. and other enemies will show up and occasionally a laser will be shot at you. Once you make it towards the end, a cutscene will come, after destroying the robots, Fox will look up to discover Wolf O'Donnell smiling above him. Wolf aims his gun at Fox and shoots, but Fox quickly moves out of the way. Wolf will then jump down from where he is and charge at Fox ready to do battle. You will then enter a battle with Wolf. Once defeating him you will unlock him. A cutscene will show you about to finish off Wolf when suddenly your crew appears aboard the Halberd. After talking with them and accepting their help to rid of the person responsible for these deeds, Fox discovers he's forgotten about Wolf, who has vanished due to the crew's distraction. From a distance Wolf is looking at Fox and his crew and he swears he will get Fox one day. To be continued....
