I did not compile this list based on personal want, I merely made it by looking at who I think has a chance, regardless of my opinion of them. Parenthesis are put around characters who I'm not ENTIRELY sure about.

Other notes about characters I left off.
Kamek-is not a nintendo all-star, he is just a generic Mario enemy.

Ridley-while I want to see him sooooooooooooo bad in this game, I believe his figure is just unfriendly.

Sonic-is doubtful at best, however, I would love to see his inclusion. Waluigi...this isn't mario Party...and finally

Miis-Their chances are harmed greatly by the fact that they are avatars, and not actual characters.

Megaman-If sonic doesn't make it neither will this fella.

Interesting list. I believe Sonic will make it, and Animal Crossing Humans are going to be the reps for Animal Crossing, and I am almost positive the Wind Waker Link is going to make it along with Miis and Ridley, but other than that, I am okay with this list.

It looks like you put a little thought into this but I dont see anyone from advanced wars getting in.

the rating is neither here nor there, as far as I see it, there won't be any big surprises in this game. and, Advance Wars has been around as long if not longer than Fire Emblem and the gameplay is similar, and I think AW deserves a rep. seeing as how it's popular in US, Europe, And Japan.

Nice list. I agree with most of it. Only things I'd have to disagree with would be that Lucas probably has about as much of a chance at getting in as Ness does at this point, and that you're not giving Sonic enough credit. Just my opinion though. It's a relatively conservative list (not in terms of number of characters, but in terms of which characters you picked. If you had mentioned Dry Bones or Metapod, I would've fong'd you), but that's probably why I agree with so much of it.

On a completely unrelated note, I adore your username for some reason.

also, Sonic got less credit because as I see it, something so big, like him getting in, would have been leaked by now. and Ness is more popular than Lucas, but he does have some chance I admit.

Lucario is just not as well known as many other pokemon, thus he's criticized... But nonetheless he should still be in.

To be fair, that's only according to the fans. Sakurai himself hasn't hinted at Ridely at all, really (other than the Ridley music, which could be perceived as in his favor or against, depending on who you talk to).

A month and a half ago, if you had asked almost anyone on these boards what Red's chances of being in Brawl were they'd probably have said "none".

I obviously have put thought into this..., if someone can show me a good photoshopped pic of ridley in a screen, then I might consider it, but, as of yet, I believe he will move look awkward in the game. If the developers or someone find a way around this then yay! but til then, ridley=out.

also, I hope this whole thread doesn't turn into a Ridley debate... there is a thread for that already...
