Odd Music Glitch

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section as I am new here)

I really don't know what is going on but my game keeps having the music stop at random moments. It started a few minutes ago where I was doing a 6 minute KO fest as Link in Final Destination where i chose to fight the Villager. I got an assist trophy which summoned Mother Brain and about 15 seconds after that the music stopped (this also happened about a minute after the match started). I still heard the sound and the game played normally but the music wasn't there.

I then did a team smash on Green Hill Zone while i played as King Dedede with Bowser and Kirby on my team and I decided to fight Shulk. Near the end of the match I assembled the Daybreak and used it where it KO'd Shulk and at 46 seconds until the end of the match it stopped again. I also realized then that the music would not play while they did their victory poses but started to play again when the results were shown. Could someone explain what might be going on?

I would assume you have tried the most basic of all troubleshooting steps already? Completely shutting down the game and restarting?

Otherwise it sounds like there is something wrong with your copy. If you have the digital version I would suggest redownloading it. If you have a physical copy then you would probably have to speak with either the store where you bought it or contact Nintendo directly.

I'm going to check to see where I possibly went wrong here.
