Odd momentum thing.

Okay, so, I was just playing some For Glory on my 3DS.
I was fighting a pretty crummy Little Mac (but that's beside the point) as Ness. Pretty standard stuff, right?
Anyhow, so at one point of the match Mac is hanging from the ledge, gets up and I grab him and pummle him a few times. As I do that, Ness (who is holding onto Mac) slides halfway across the stage! It was incredibly bizarre! I have no idea where that momentum came from!

I've saved the replay, but I don't have a capture device to make a video unfortunately.
If you wanna check it out, search replays with the following conditions:
-Region: Austria (not Australia!!)
-Mode: For Glory / 1-on-1
-Character: Ness

The first thing you find should be my replay. It's titled "Momentum??!".

So if anyone wants to look into this possible glitch, please feel free to.

I play on the wii u, but that sounds really strange. Hopefully that's the last time it will do that, if not, then you probably should report that directly.

His KO Punch gave you momentum

What Rocket Raccoon said; there's a really strong windbox at the start of KO Punch, you grabbed him during that but before the actual punch came out and it slid you across the stage.
