Hey its Conti, local brawl player from Ocean County NJ, I'm currently trying to start up a legitamate smash scene in my local area. "Close Encounters Comics & Games" a local card/comic shop that i play yugioh tournaments for [they also do Magic and DnD] is letting me host a Smashfest at their shop for free just because they support the Gaming Community :] so yeah we can probly do it once a month every Wednesday. This can be the start to a really fun local brawl scene that could even turn into legit tournaments. Let's see how this turns out. APEX Training FTW :]
Location: 1861 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753
We are going to need power strips, and at least 4 Wii/TV Setups
Please B.Y.O.C. [bring ur own controller] because i have no controllers to offer [mine is kinda messed up as is]...
MK is going to be legal for the LAST time, because after APEX2012 he is officially banned throughout the entire brawl community. But we are going to use the Unity Ruleset below.

C.E. Offers Drinks for a dollar and they can order us pizza at 2$ a slice if we have enough people who want Pizza.
THIS IS A FREE OPEN EVENT TO HANGOUT AND CHILL AND PLAY SOME GAMES
so any1 can come :D
I should be at the CardShop that day around 2PM or so, We will set up and have warm up friendlies til about and you can register for the Free Singles Tournament up until 4ish. Around 4 - 4:30 We can start up the singles tournament and stuff, ill designate judges, and it should problably play through depending on people there until about 6-7ish, then from there if people still want to we can do a Double's Tournament, Or another singles tournament if people are down. WE COULD EVEN DO CREW BATTLES! ;D
But anyways, Try to be cool and stuff at the shop, I want to make sure everything goes good so we can maybe start up something awesome.
