NYC smashers for smashfests

Hey Guys. Just to let you know there is a casual friday rate at web2zone.
$10 Every Friday
5pm - 1am
Mini-Tournaments throughout the night.
Basic Guidelines to Casual Fridays:
First-Come/First-Serve
Players must pre-pay; sign-in using a sign-in sheet provided by web2zone, and get a colored wristband.
Upon random inspection by a web2zone employee, players that remove, cut or snap-off the wristband must pay another $10 if they want to continue playing. This is to prevent anyone from "sharing" or "passing" the wristband around to other players waiting to get in.

also it's not only for smash bros. melee theres other games u can go and play.
they have:
Halo 2
Dead or Alive 4
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
Guilty Gear XX Slash
In addition to that, if there's enough smashers that go, we can have official smashfests set up for saturdays

no not at all, its jus something they have every friday where ppl come n play those games, i was jus saying that if alot of smashers go, we can have a day exclusive only to smash
but that was jus an event that was happenin, i make these threads because we have smashfests of our own in the bronx, for $5 per person to enter

ANNOUNCEMENT:
As far as price go, we are only charging $5 for entrance. So, I hope that doesn't change anyone's mind.
this 1 is optional: my man bum here is offering lessons. now this guy aint no push over, u will be satisfied with his trainning. it will definitely be worth it, trust me, this guy is a monster. u don't have to pay up front, so as we go through the smash fest u can see for yourself his level of play, experience, and so on. the trainning will be personal, meaning that it will be on a 1 on 1 level.
Price is negotiable, depending on hours and so forth, and that price must be paid every session.
And now, for a quote from the bum, as stated at 1:44:00 AM Saturday June 3rd, 2006:
i'm here 2 train the low in order 2 keep them, gamer, within the game n bring out the potential in which one may think he may not possess........
Time:
anytime u are able to come, please do, but we usually begin around 3:00 PM
Directions:
Trains:
2 or 5 train-get off at Intervale Avenue.
6 train-get off at Longwood Avenue.
Bus:
6 bus-leaves u right in front of building, or across the street, depending which direction ur coming from, get off at 163rd and Tiffany Street.
19 bus-leaves u a couple of blocks away on 163rd and Southern Boulevard. as soon as u get off the bus turn right n walk to the corner. u will be in front of a clothing store, turn right (assuming u are facing the store) n walk straight n u will eventually meet up at 163rd and Tiffany Street. It is about 2 or 3 blocks.
the majority of all of you will probably take the train, just get off the stop n we will pick u up from there. that goes for bus as well.
also if anything we, myself, Jay0yeah, and bum163, will be giving out our contact number.
PM us, IM us, anything, n let us know, we will give u the number.

u can jus PM me n i will give u all 3 contact numbers.

unfortunately bum tells me there might be a slight increase in the entrance fee. but that will be discussed within us as the week passes by. Old Fee: $5
check my old announcement posts that i copy n pasted on the first page for more information. if there's any questions unanswered feel free to PM me.
im also up for training during the week, so if anyone wants to play me let me kno. playing in these tourneys shows me that i should get out there n play different people

YEAH!!! THAT GAUNLET WAS HOT! OMG literally 110 degrees. It was fun to have the Smash community show up and enjoy a Saturday full of SMASH, lol. Smash fest this SAT? O_o I"m there!!! ::Flexes his mucles! 5 entry fee??? NOT A PROBLEM, I"M THERE.... WHOS COMING TO THIS FEST WITH BUM, GLITCH N myself hosting it? Hope to see many there
