Hi! My name is Tyler, also known as Nurse Violet. My main smash game is Melee and my in-game tag is usually "RX".

I have owned a copy of Melee since I was very young and I used to spend hours on it, always trying to get members of my family to play with me. Now with the release of the smash documentary and several large tournament successes cementing melee as a serious eSports title, I want to try and actually get good at the game! I will admit I am not very good, but I believe that if I become an active member of the smash community and put in a lot of practice I can improve, and maybe eventually succeed in tournament play!

Right now the only characters I am comfortable on are Marth and Pikachu, but I would like to learn other characters as well. I understand most of the advanced concepts (wavedashing, shffling, teching, di, etc.) but my actual execution is lacking, and I generally play better if I am not trying to do anything "fancy". I appreciate any wisdom that you more experienced smashers might have, and I look forward to becoming more involved in this community!
