Hey there, I'm VIIIAxel, or just Axel for short! I've been a member on here for a while, but I've only posted a couple times, so I decided I might as well introduce myself to everyone outside of the Shulk discussion threads. To explain why I joined this forum, one of my friends is an active member on here (Spiderfreak1011), and he invited me since we talk about the games a lot.
I've been a Smash fan ever since Brawl, but I'm not really the super-competitive sort of player. I've used a lot of different characters throughout my time in each Smash game, with my favorite obviously being Shulk. However, Ness is my best character, probably because I've spent a lot more time with him since he's been around since Smash 64! I also use Zelda, Greninja, Duck Hunt, Robin, Ludwig, Ice Climbers (Melee/Brawl), and Olimar (Brawl, I'm not a big fan of his Smash 4 changes). I've never been to a tournament, but I do think it would be a cool experience to have at some point!
What else do I have to say about myself? Well, I love Nintendo in general. Pokemon is my absolute favorite game series, and I've been a fan of it ever since the anime started airing in English. However, my favorite game is Xenoblade, which is probably kind of obvious thanks to my avatar. I play most of Nintendo's franchises, from Mario and Kirby to Animal Crossing and F-Zero. Smash introduced me to most of these amazing games (Pokemon and Mario are the only ones I played before Brawl, unfortunately), and I'm incredibly thankful to the series for helping me find so many of what are now my favorite games! My favorite game genre is RPG, but I also play a lot of other games from other genres. I play some Sony and PC games, but most of my gaming time is spent with Nintendo.
Well, I could probably go on for ages about my gaming experiences if I kept talking, but I don't want my intro to be too long, so I'll cut things short here. It's nice to meet you all!
