This is honestly just a tiny rant because I can't stand people who just talk crap about you just because your opinion is different than theirs.

So some people were complaining about character's recoveries getting nerfed, and some people thought Luigi's recovery sucked balls compared to Mario's. I honestly preffered Luigi's over Mario, since you have control over his misfire to an extent, so playing your cards right could net you and easy vertical/horizontal recovery.

As soon as I brought that up I was called a scrub and a quitter and an idiot for thinking Luigi is better than Mario (which I don't, I just like his recovery better).

I dunno, what do you guys think?

You'll get the same result on smashboards if you said that in the right board. It isn't only facebook, considering chances are, those same people already have smashboards accounts.

Yeah, I'm just not gonna stick with those kinda groups much anymore, at least Smashboards is more tame than that.

Like at least you calmly told me Mario's is better than Luigi's, lol.

I mean I can understand why it's ****ty over all due to vulnerability and lag time if you make it onstage rather than edgegrabbing, but like I said before you kinda have some control over when his misfire is shot thanks to the rework on his PSA, so I've always just kept the shot I knew was going to be a misfire for when I needed it (i.e. finishing combos, suprising opponents, and obviously recovering.)

Eh, whatever, Mario's is just easier to manage. I suppose I'll just accept that his is better than Greeny's.

Nah it actually wasn't it was some NY PM group. I think it's more the fact that most people in NY are jerks rather than people around the smash community having that sort of attitude.

I never said that facebook groups are inherently bad, I just consistantly have bad experiences with some (people reported me in a Pokemon X and Y group for using Mega Gengar, things of that manner) and just have a personal distaste for them. I'm completely aware that I'll likely get the same responses here, I sort of am already. I just have a preference for this site rather than facebook groups due to my experiences. So I'll reiterate, I don't think any groups are generally bad, just some people are better suited for different communities.
