Not sure if anyone can help me...might be simple

I've been customizing brawl alot lately, although melee is my favorite game so at this point im trying to do the same with melee, which is much different but i'm not sure how close i am.(im not very good at this)

I have
access to a copy of a melee iso with textures
bootmii( i believe came with homebrew installer)
i use bootmii to get to homebrew

so i just have 2 questions, was hoping for direction
what else is needed program wise to run the copy
and i have to use a dvd correct?

If you're "not very good at this" you don't want to try hacking melee. You need programming/processor knowledge to do anything to it, since (AFAIK) nobody has made programs to make hacking melee easier.
