Smash 3DS Not many unlockables

It seems that a VERY low amount of the characters in smash 4 are actually unlockable. Technically the amount of characters that need to be unlocked is similar to past games (11 for Melee, 14 for Brawl, 12 for Smash 4). But percentage-wise it is really low compared to those titles.

44% of Melee characters were unlockable
40% of Brawl characters were unlockable
25% of Smash 4 characters are unlockable

There starting roster for Smash 4 is larger already then the entire Brawl roster. Personally, I'd like more unlockable characters but that's just me, others might just want to play everyone asap

I'm happy with the way things are; but I think Meta Knight and Ike should have been unlockables.

The unlockables, the unlockable newcomers are just ridiculous.

They're made up for by the 8 unlockable moves per each of the 49 playable characters. At least in my opinion.
