Not getting reverse hitboxes after up-b cancel?

Everytime I cancel up-b into something like nair, I always get the reverse hitbox. One of the best things about up-b cancel is that you can drag someone towards the blastzone and get an early kill, so if you get the reverse nair, it almost definitely won't kill (and could get you edgeguarded). So is there any way to guarantee the regular hitbox?

That means you're canceling it too late probably. You can cancel Extreme Speed at any point if you have aura, so it's simply a matter of timing.
