Description

I'm hosting a second "Nostalgia at its finest" tournament. This time, the nostalgia will be shared between partners; it's a doubles tournament! There's a little twist, though. The only characters allowed to be used will be the original 12!

The results could not have been uploaded because the person who was running the brackets last time forgot to actually save the tio file. I will be running the brackets this time, and don't worry, it's not my first time.

Rules

DOUBLES; double elimination

1. Team Rules
- friendly fire is enabled
- share stock is allowed
- teams may consist of two players on the same console
- limit of one team per console
- voice chat is allowed

2. General Rules
- regular matches will be best 2/3
- bracket finals and grand finals 3/5
- 3 stock
- 8 minute time limit
- items are set to none
- items are turned off

3. Characters Allowed

COUNTERPICKS
- Battleship Halberd

5. Counterpicking & Stage Bans (stage strikes)
- each team gets to ban (strike) a counterpick stage prior to the match
- the team who lost the previous match announces their counterpick stage (must be from the counterpick stage list)
- the team who won the previous match announces their characters (must be from the characters allowed list)
- both teams have to play according to their decisions or both teams will be disqualified
- you may not counterpick a stage if your team has already won on it that set (unless agreed upon by both teams)
- you may play a banned stage if both teams agree on playing it

6. Latency, Disputes and No-Shows
- do your best to play through a match
- if the lag is unbearable both teams may chose one person to play a one on one
- if the servers are down we will continue the tournament another day
- if one team continues to show problems they will be disqualified
- do your best to take pictures and record if you do not want to run into disputes
- if there is a dispute and no proof is shown, a supervised one on one will be played
- if one team disputes twice they will be disqualified
- your opponent forfeits if their full team isn't present ten minutes after the match is schedueled

6. Techniques
- chaingrabs are allowed
- standing infinites are banned
- wall infinites are allowed
- locks are allowed
- grab releases are allowed
- stalling is banned

one reason ur not gettin many applicants: tourneys arent usually during the week... school is interfering too much

i'm glad that i didnt hold this type of tourney because i was seriously going to.

It's because I'm not advertising. I can easily gather 10-15 more teams an hour before the actual tournament.

Anyway, it's for fun. I don't need dozens of entrants. I just host tournaments because I'm bored during the weekdays. Also, you'd be surprised how many people are on the All is Brawl chat and are ready to Brawl right after school. I doubt the times should be a problem, considering the PST time is 4 PM.

Also, Mithx, what's that supposed to mean?
