Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Ruleset is as follows:
Items are set to off and none. Pause and Handicap are disabled. Damage Ratio is 1.0.
2 stocks and 6 minute time limit.
2/3 games; 3/5 for Winner's, Loser's, and Grand Finals
Customs and Equipment are turned off.
Mii Fighters are banned
All Omega stages are banned.
First stage is decided by (Rock-Paper-Scissors) best of 1. Winner strikes, then loser strikes twice, then winner. (P1-P2-P2-P1)
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss.
Dave's Stupid Rule: A player cannot counterpick the last stage he/she won on unless mutually agreed to by both players.
You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification.
Sudden Death with a tied percentage/stock count will NOT determine the outcome of a tied game. A playoff match with 1 stock/2 minutes will determine the winner.
There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.

NC has moved to The Coin Slot in downtown Traverse City! Located at 346 E Front St #7, Lower Level.
This month's Northern Conflict will be reintroducing Street Fighter V, as well as welcoming Super Smash Bros (WiiU) and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to the mix before Mortal Kombat XL.

3:00pm - On-site registration opens, Casuals start
3:45pm - Smash & Street Fighter registration closes.
4:00pm - Smash & Street Fighter tournament start.

5:00pm - UMvC3 tournament start.

PRICING:
Venue fee is $5, which will also allow you to play the arcade cabinets at the venue, and entry for each game is an additional $5.
**Total costs of ENTRY fees will go into the respective game's Prize Pool**
Payouts will go as follows:
Less than or equal to 9 entrants:
1st- 80%
2nd- 20%
Between 10 and 29 entrants:
1st- 70%
2nd- 20%
3rd- 10%
Greater than 30 entrants:
1st- 55%
2nd- 20%
3rd- 10%
4th- 5%
REMEMBER: This is ran FOR the community BY the community so I will have two lagless setups provided. If possible, please bring a set up (PS4, both hook ups, a copy of the game(s) with all DLC, and a smaller TV with game mode/ lagless monitor monitor, and power strips) just in case.
