The standard TO, Magic Samus, will be away; so I'll be taking charge this time.
With that said, we'll be mixing things up a bit in terms of organization.

Battlefy will automatically pair you up with your opponent in a private chat session, making the chaos that sprung up during our last few tourneys minimal.

Standard Info
Double Elimination
2 stock / 6 minutes -- Best of 3. Best of 5 in Losers Finals, Winners Finals, and Grand Finals
All items Off and set to None / Customs Off
All other settings are to be set to their defaults.
Please report all match results the IRC chat in the format of !results [Player 1 vs Player 2] [2-2] -- with or without the brackets, it accepts both, replacing Player 1, etc with your Battlefy In-game names. and 2-2 with the proper score.
Time Restraints
If the opponent is unresponsive for 5 minutes after the round begins, contact the Tournament Organizer or a moderator via the IRC chat with the command !afk [Player 1 vs Player 2] [Player whose AFK]
Same as above for how the command works.
Special Notes
Mewtwo will be legal in this tournament.
Character Select
On the first game of the set, both players may choose their character freely, to be revealed when the match starts in-game.
The winner of the previous game will choose their character first and reveal it to the opponent. Their three stage strikes detailed below will also be given at this time.
The loser of the previous round will choose their character last and the stage on which the players will fight. Additional details are below.
Neutral Stages
Counterpick Stages
On the first game in a set, both players may choose to strike two stages from the Neutral Stages list. The stage remaining will be the one played on.
The winner of the previous game may strike three stages from either the Neutral or Counterpick lists. The strikes from the previous game are null.
A player may not pick a stage where they have won previously.
If both players agree, any stage--including those not on the Neutral or Counterpick lists--may be played and overrides the previous rule.
Special Clauses
If a game leads to Sudden Death, the player with the lowest percentage wins. If both players are of equal percent, a 1-stock game with no time limit is to be played.
If Sudden Death was caused by a suicide move, the initiator wins.
If the suicide initiator is declared the loser by the results screen, what the results screen says is final.
