How could nintendo replace Ness?! Lucas appears to be a Ness clone except for PK freeze, so in other words, it's bye bye Ness! This stinks! And plus, nothing can replace that trademark "okay!" This is absolutely ridiculous.

Actually, don't be suprised if he still has "Okay!" as one of his taunts. After all, if there are three taunt options there is no reason not to.

Out of curiosity, do you know anything about Ness outside of Super Smash Brothers?

yeah, Ness seems to be gone, but hopefully Lucas is just as good if not even better. Though i always liked Ness' neutral special move on the ground...

Lucas is way better than Ness. he was supposed to be in Melee, but MOTHER3 got canceled for N64.

we do not know if Ness is gone... he is not a clone of Lucas. his smash moves are different... and PK Freeze too

Actually Lucas is a bit more "With the times" than Ness, Mother 2 was released in 94 and Mother 3 was released just a few years ago.
