It has been released that the musician credited with (among other, lesser things) every Final Fantasy's music, Nobou Uematsu, will be working on Brawl.

At least, that's what his Wikipedia site says... Anybody know anything about this? He isn't on the Brawl site, but if he really is working with them then it probably means a Final Fantasy character, right?

No, he composed the intro music for Brawl, that is why he is mentioned on the list. There are many other composers working for the game, like Michiko Naruke, who composed the kicka** music that Wild Arms has, and he usually works for Sony as the series is a Sony only franchise.

Super Smash Bros. Main Theme

He's composition supervisor.

Anyway, there's no correlation between composer and character.

For example... we aren't getting a Wild ARMS character.
No Wild Arms character, but the music composer making some of the music for Brawl. Although if one of them appears as an AT... nah, it's impossible since they haven't filled in the main requisite of being on a Nintendo console.

And the bracket about a Square character appearing in Brawl is still open, but we'll see in the future if a Square character makes it in or not...

Oh, I want a Wild ARMS char. The main character from Wild ARMS 4 was pretty sweet. lol.

But as for a SquareEnix character, it's looking like it'd either be a Black Mage, Geno, or Sora. But, of course, we know there's no correlation. These are just the most favored.

Musician =/= game designer.

Bleh. The only game I like from Wild Arms was the very first one. Although it had a lot of misspellings and some cheesy 3D graphics, the gameplay, music and characters in the game saved it. Sadly, the FFVII hype killed it in that time.

Musician=/=Game Designer.

but they both work on the same series. and if they add a "Game Creator List" page. it would be a dead give away.

So really. the Game Designer could be working on brawl. you dont know it. im saying COULD

COULD

Sakurai could just want good musicians.

Its a better theory than some. you haveto admit it.

While a FF character would be kinda cool in SSBB, I highly doubt it. Somthing no one has mentioned here is that Nobou no longer actualy works for Square-Enix. About a year and a half back (rough estimate) he left Square-Enix to found his own music deveopment company. He is periodicly contracted to do music for games, like Blue Dragon, and of course SSBB.

The musician = represented series logic is so seriously flawed. That's all that needs to be said.
