Wow that title alone hurts my very soul lol I should probably explain.

Whenever me and my brother hop on this game, we find ourselves staring at the character select screen just... wondering what to do next because, you can only kick the computer's ass so many times. Idk what it is, when we were younger, we could play all day everyday and not get bored one bit, I guess now that we're older, fighting the computer just doesn't satisfy me anymore.

People will point to online, but we never had online back in the day, so why should this one rely on it? ehh idk, I want to get good competitively, but I have no one to play with, I mean, good luck finding someone here in boring ol' England that plays Smash competitively lol. I also feel my bro just doesn't have that much motivation to practice with me competitively, he just doesn't seem to have the interest, that, and the cpu's are most likely boring him also. I have a lack of interest in doing classic mode with all characters, and whatever else mode with all characters... I really have no desire to play characters through different modes for the sake of it, I simply don't enjoy playing random characters D:

I just think there's not much motive to get all the collectibles, it feels like I'm collecting for the sake of collecting.
In all honesty, I would love to have a group of friends I could just fight in a competitive way, so we could all try to improve, but I don't have that luxury, hell, I don't even have friends lol.

With all this said, funnily enough I'm so hyped for Mewtwo and can't wait to play him, I just hope that after all that has settled, my boredom and lack of well,... stuff to do in this game doesn't come back. I guess this is just more of a personal problem, I'll always love Smash, I just think smashing the cpu's heads in just isn't enough anymore like the good old days when me and my bro were young lol.

I explained that here "People will point to online, but we never had online back in the day, so why should this one rely on it?" not every game should rely on online. I enjoy online, but there's no interaction with the players, it's just fight them, then move on. That seems more like a thing you would do in-between your main gameplay.

I've ignored that bit because you're reaching out that you're losing motivation from playing CPUs when there's a perfectly good alternative.
Even if you aren't a fan of For Glory online, you could easily find real[ people to play with through Smashboards or Smashladder that provide actual responsive feedback.

Yeah true, I guess I'm just disappointed with the single player/local co-op play options. A half an hour adventure mode would have been great for co-op.
