D: Please don`t be true, please tell me your trolling! It seems in tied matches the game now gives the win to the person who had the highest damage given. It no longer goes to sudden death. Whats up with that?
He's trolling.D: Please don`t be true, please tell me your trolling!
I want to make a million sock puppet accounts just to like this! He's trolling.
What? You asked for it...
Haha, sorry, I know you're not trolling, I just wanted to give him what he wanted. (By saying you're trolling)No im honestly not trolling. This was an issue with my copy last night. If it is not supposed to do this please let me know, and I can redownload. It was really bugging me.
D: Why would you lie to me! I am now making a petition to bring Sudden death back even if it`s just as a alternate mode!Haha, sorry, I know you're not trolling, I just wanted to give him what he wanted. (By saying you're trolling)
This is why we can't have nice things.D: Why would you lie to me! I am now making a petition to bring Sudden death back even if it`s just as a alternate mode!

I don`t think something that specific is a bug.Well I have looked on the known bug list and its not currently considered a known bug... I have reported it just in case this was not a purposeful change. Either way its fine... but I do love my sudden death rounds...
This, it's understandable.I think it's intentional. Ties are determined like that in actual tournaments IIRC, so they probably designed it like that to make it better for tournament organizers.
Can you confirm that the victory always goes to the player who did the most damage, and not some other factor? If so, that's a pretty good choice I think, it rewards aggressive play and punishes scavengers who sit back waiting safely for high percent targets. Sudden Death is an odd thing to break now, though. I'm guessing that having characters reload for the Sudden Death was messed with by the Clone Engine? Regardless it's a pretty cool workaround, thanks for being awesome, PMBR.It's not a bug. Sudden Death froze the game so it was decided to mitigate that by making the choice you see right now.
It's the life of a programmer. Make something cool or new and it breaks something else. Try to find out what actually causes it and you repeat the cycle. You get used to it.God damn, it's got to be such a pain to be a coder sometimes. You build all these awesome features and then find out you break the most unexpected or inane parts of the game.
Ahhh, okay. It's not a bug. Sudden Death froze the game so it was decided to mitigate that by making the choice you see right now.
