I don't actually know if there's a name for this effect lol.
I've noticed that the diagonal effect when you lose a stock from Brawl was removed. Is this to make it look more like Melee? I always wanted those to be in a Smash bros game (since 64), because I thought it would look better (and it does!), but now they were removed from Project M and you can't even see the explosion when you die
Unless... it is still there. I've tried many times though at an (almost) perfect angle but I can't see it.
