Or NIS in general I guess...

So what are some favored Nippon Ichi games? What games do people own as well?

I own:
-Disgaea
-Phantom Brave
-Ar Tonelico
-Grimgrimoire (even though its a Vanillaware game)

I actually really like the circular ranges in Phantom Brave...and throwing enemies off the map is always fun. What about other people?

Disgaea's the single best strategy game of all time, and I can not wait to have my life sucked away by Disgaea DS and Disagea 3. Words cannot impart how much I long for Absence of Justice. Luckily, the internet has me covered: http://gamevideos.com/video/id/19290

However, I'm not so big on most of NIS's other stuff. La Pucelle is the only one I really care for. Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, and the Tonelico games are just a bit too cliche for my tastes. Yeah, I hate those circular area things.

but a pig in the sun
I've had Disgaea DS since Christmas.

I still have no idea how to play it. I keep getting my *** whooped by Midboss, and leveling up takes an eternity. And I have no clue how to get out of the item world, which is the only way I know how to level up quickly.

I guess this game is just too complex for me....

its not that hard. To get out of the itemworld you need a MR.gencys exit if you have that item you can get out of the itemworld of that item and start were you left off later midboss is not that hard

Do they play like FFTactics? I absolutely hated those games... I can't stand those types, but I'm really into Atlus's game Nights in the Nightmare for DS.

That really didn't answer my question.

I just went and looked at them myself, and it doesn't really look that complicated, or interesting. Is it just the battles I saw..? I tend to throw out those tedious games that require too much attention. I really liked the Summon Night series for that matter.

To be honest, the only FF I ever finished was IX, and that's because I had a lot of help. And it was wayy more in depth for me.
