Nintendo's Attention To Brawl

In light of the new Stage Creation in tonights (Australian Time) DOJO update it seems Nintendo will be paying a lot of attention to Brawl even after it's release, daily attention in fact:

"A stage made by someone else will come to you over the Internet once per day!"

This attention could mean Character balancing update, item updates or EVEN stage (>_>) updates.

It also seems, most likely, there will be no PAL to NTSC difference between games ala updates and playing online. Any obvious updates you, the people, think Nintendo will make post Brawl's release and during the years to come?

Yes, it certainly seems that Brawl is going to be the Game for Nintendo. Having a huge number of devoted fans before the game is even released, plus the fact that people are actually buying a Wii because of it, Brawl is going to enjoy the whole support of Nintendo. Brawl will be the first true Nintendo game that kicks *** online too. I'm expecting official leaderboards, tournaments and maybe also additional content.

This is true, after attending E-for-All, I believe that Brawl is Nintendo's main pride and joy! Brawl was the centerpiece of Nintendo's showcases. They had like 5 playable stations for Brawl, plus the main "tournament" platform with 4 playable "first bracket" stations and the main stage for the "final bracket".

Who would've thought after the very first Smash?? Smash Bros is a sensation and it's epic!! So there's no doubt that Brawl's developers would keep an eye on their game through at least the first year via online.

Hell, I wouldn't even doubt that they'd secretly play against the public online undercover to see how we play and what "exploits" we perform...and maybe patch those up?!?

I wouldn't want new characters afterwards via wiiConnect24, though....it sounds too messy and too, ...i'unno...unorganized. I'm a neat-freak, so this idea sounds unattractive. I'd prefer all the characters to be done and in the game from the beginning.

nintendo will have to PAY people to do that... but the won have any moeny tpo pay them with cuz wiifi... is free... the only money they will make off this game is the origanal 50 US 60CAN 90 AUS 100000000000000 yen etc... they wont invest that much extra money in this game for the next 5 years... to expensive... theres a reason it costs 50 bucks a year for xbox live.....hell .. i doubt the stage a day thing will last more than 2 years... sakurai said himslef "This is our ideal current plan. nintendo needs to focus on bigger things like the next zelda,mario,metroid,kirby,dk, or nex gen system....they cant spend all there time and money on one game...even though itll be the biggest seller

i just dont see how they can make this the last game and leave it forever....

its just too epic..... i mean theyll keep on makin theyre mario zelda dk(down the drain btw) metroid games... why not smash its a great series that needs to be made over and over...

i think the only argument against more smash games is its phenominal replay value ... but so what... dont punish smashers bcuz there game of choice has so much replay... make another for the wii or the next system... one for the DS?... or the next handheld system with a joystick to avoid wiimote controls ...

i dont think they should throw this series away... make more and more and more

I don't think money will be a problem for the big N. The fact that Wifi play is free wil not influence what Nintendo will do with it. At least not too much . A years worth of Xbox live is only $50. Not that much for Microsoft to make too much of a profit on, but Xbox owners don't forget they pay the fee. Nintendo might become more popular among gamers dedicated to Xbox with the free Wifi play, especially with the highly anticipated titles coming out later this year and in the first quarter next year.

Yes, they will, they've already announced that they're going to update YOUR WII with a New level submitted by players EVERYDAY! That means they're going to have to look through every stupid level any moron with a wii and a copy of the game has created and judge them and find the best one to upload.

Non-gamers ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE! Non gamers wont own a wii and will not be swane into buying one because of one game. In fact, 'non games' wont even know the characters giving them little to no incentive to buy it.

The stages won't be utterly complex, mainly because you have a limit. If you are so inclined that you must a have a stage you played on, I suppose you can take a few screenshots and duplicate it to some extent.

But back to on-topic. Nintendo's end all Super-game is Brawl, and nothing will exceed it's awesomeness. It'll have a fully fleshed out side-scrolling platformer for Single Player, which has coop. THEN it is still the best dang fighting game. Period. Plus, we get to play Mario vs. Sonic to our heart's content, which is what we've asked for for years. And with the new Stage Builder....

Every serious gamer will need a Wii after this.
