Hello guys this thread is more less about online connecting issues/lag, my question is if anyone has the nintendo wifi usb connector and how good does it actually work. Does it give you a better connection than just connecting to the router? I know that nintendo quit making them so i will probably go ahead and find one on ebay if i decide to get one. So Im just wondering what you guys think about it. Please be as helpful and you can :) Thanks!

The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is obsolete now. It can only be used with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, which has been discontinued.

Is that true? Why is it an option in the 3DS internet settings then?

Maybe this could improve online if the computer is using a wired connection.

The 3DS supports Nintendo DS titles, which is why you could modify the Nintendo WFC settings. 3DS titles use the Nintendo Network service.

I know it's an option in the DS internet settings, but it's also an option in the 3DS internet settings when you go to New Connection > Manual Setup.

Still, the Nintendo WFC service has been terminated, so you can no longer establish a connection with it.
