Its highly unlikely that Sakurai would actually implement something like frame data into Smash but if its anything like how Injustice did it, then I'm all for it.

Advanced techniques?

I'd say that for the How to Play video, they should stick to the basic controls of the game.

They wouldn't go into all of that, I expect a basic how to play explaining the basic stuff and leave the rest to the player to find out.

Sure, add an advanced technique tutorial video and a detailed frame data video program that uses a hierarchy tree for organization.

So you could organize by: character > ground/air/special > specific move. Followed by frame by frame stop-motion and visible hit-boxes, with accompanying damage percentages and knockback of course.

Bury it in the options or vault section where casuals won't explore and then you won't have any problems with scaring them off. :)

Omg that is genus! ...nintendo prob still say no by saying "you don't know how much work we put into hit boxes and frames"

How many of yall came here after watching that Killer Instinct Review on IGN?
Gaddamn the amount of effort they put into catering to the competitive community in that game is amazing. I mean they actually let you toggle the visibility of the hitboxes!

Holy crap that is dedication: smash bros has the chance to be the best fighting game since it is unique and very technical. I think their should be training modes where you can practise teaching, power shielding and platform cancels/shield buffering drops.
