Nintendo Power was first published in 1988, I wouldn't exactly call that short-lived, would you?

As much as I would like Nintendo Power to stick around, you have to wonder if any of you who sign the petition will actually buy (or continue to buy) the magazine. Did you ever think there was a reason they weren't going to be printing it anymore?

Basically what Lythium said, I mean while I'm sad that they have to go I quit subscribing maybe 4 years ago. My mom asked me at the time if I wanted to resubscribe but I seriously did rationalize the situation and realized that internet makes it obsolete.

I did re-subscribe out of pity now though.
They had sweet posters.

It's done and all the online petitions in the world won't change that. Don't waste your time trying to promote petitions. It's amazing that nintendo power even lasted as long as it did. Grow up and move on.

Websites already dedicated to gaming have made Nintendo Power obsolete.

It is bad business if they are to continue publishing a magazine.

Wish they could've stuck around for one more year to say they had a run of 25 years, but business happens.

Na, they just did even worse reviews (right after the redesign the reviews were good for a couple years), made it more "family friendly" (if that impression makes sense), removed all content other than a few ok previews, and added tons of ads. It just isn't the same anymore.

But yeah, the cancellation was inevitable, sadly enough.

Sorry guys, but a petition thread here does not have a point. They have decided to cease the magazine, and that's the final decision.
