This thread is a place where you can post whatever happy moment, positive feeling, or positive opinion you might have about a Nintendo game of any era and discuss it with others and pretty much engage in conversation sharing memories and stuff you enjoy about said Nintendo games. You can post well thought out posts, or post casually while you play a random Nintendo game as well. All is fine here.

My only rule is if you discuss story elements, spoiler tag them, but put the game title like so:

Silly Example:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wand Gamelon
omg Zelda kills someone someone and says "good". lol!
Without further ado~ Let's start sharing the things we enjoy about Nindie!

Pokemon Stadium Series
As a kid, this was truly one of the most memorable series for me and still is to this day for me. I really love how you can battle with every single Pokemon, even if you didn't own one of the Game Boy games to use with it. The minigames are just overflowing with charm, it really felt like Mario Party but in some ways, executed even better and more approachable. I like the Lickitung one the most where you eat Sushi, it's so fun and silly.

The game also like features so many amazing things such as being able to play your handheld Pokemon games on the big screen (something I'd like to see them do again!) with Doduo and Dodrio Game Boy Tower, which in turn also added the option to speed the game up to blazing speeds.

Such a lovely series with so much more content then I'm letting on here like being able to use it as a storage. Good times.

Zelda was one of the many series that I absolutely adored as a kid. I have so many fantastic memories from it.

Playing Four Swords with two of my best buds.

The ReDeads emotionally scarred me and instilling a fear of zombies that haunted me throughout my entire childhood.

Playing OoT at the same time as a friend and giving each other tips and advice on how to get through the game.

The serene and relaxing sailing in Wind Waker.

How absolutely mind-blowing Twilight Princess was when I was thirteen.

God I love LoZ.

Good memories in gaming, eh?

-The entirety of Metroid Primes 1 and 2...from kicking Ridley's ass, to encountering Dark Samus for the first time, to extremely fun but challenging boss battles (some too challenging, stupid Boost Guardian), to discovering Phendrana Drifts and descending down the Impact Crater....good times...

-in MGS3...having a snipers duel against The End...a tediously long boss fight but one of my favourite boss fights in any game...The End also managed to scare the **** out of me when I was scoping the area trying to find him and I see him standing behind me when I go back into 3rd person view...it was both hilarious and terrifying at the same time XD...

-Pulling a Solid Snake at the Forsaken Fortress and getting caught repeatedly...Also sailing the great sea and discovering all the different islands

:215:-Crystal version...randomly bumped into this amazing pokemon in the Ice Path...and sweeping through the pokemon league and the rest of Kanto and Red with this guy taking the lead...also being able to one shot my buddy's Lv. 100 Charizard with him...I miss Pokemon Crystal...

-Ruby version...being intrigued by Meteor Falls...and waiting for waterfall......finally being able to venture deep into the caves and eventually discovering the coolest little blue dragon...it eventually turned into the coolest big blue dragon...

-Running around Kokiri Forest on the N64 at Wal-mart while my mom was shopping...my first experiences playing Zelda

-Playing Smash 64 for the first time remembering running around Kokiri Forest and picking 'oh his name's not Zelda'...

-Discovering Noctilum and Sylvalum for the first time...

:4cloud:-last November...need I say more...

It's nice to see a thread focusing on positive aspects instead of negative stuff for once. Great idea! Anyhow, some great memories of mine:

The entirety of Ocarina of Time. Every aspect of this game had an impact on me in some form to varying degrees but they were all good/positive and I'll never trade those impacts/memories.

Star Fox: Assault multiplayer. That is all.

"Reverse Grabbing" a :falcomelee: as :zeldamelee: and winning with the immediate back throw all caused by an accidental grab input.

Beating Super Mario 64 and Star Fox 64. It was such a struggle the first time I did it but now I can beat them perfectly. It's rather nostalgic to look back at how much better at those games I've gotten over the years. I can say the same thing for many other games (Metroid Prime's another good example) but those 2 stand out the most to me and are my go-to examples.

Beating Paper Mario. That game was one of the first games I owned and it was a struggle getting past some of the puzzles as a child (especially Forever Forest) so the day I eventually beat that game was a huge milestone for me.

These are a few things that come to my head. All great experiences/memories I treasure greatly.

Also 1640% YES on Pokemon Stadium!
Pokemon Stadium was the first game I ever owned and is how I began my gaming career. You could say it was my "starter". :004:

I can relate and agree with everything you said. I'd also like to mention Gym Leader Castle. I loved that mode and spent tons of time in that mode and the music that played there was perfect. Actually the entire sound track was great. Tons of great remixes.

Also the announcer is perfect and is on Star Fox 64 levels of quotability.

"What's the matter trainer?" "Taken down on the word go!" "And there goes the battle"
I also really love how the GB Tower played the GB games in color too. Like, :003:would be green, :009:would be blue, towns and cities all had their own colors etc. instead of just everything being blue or red or grey. A great feature imo. Plus, a bigger screen and no worries for battery life. Beautiful stuff.

Finally, I really loved how animated the Pokemon were along with the look of the various moves/effects like Fire Blast, Dragon Rage, and Surf. The animation they do every time they come out of a Poke Ball really added some personality so to speak to them and it really made them feel alive that way. While a minor detail, I also loved how the camera would rotate so you could see both Pokemon at the same time. It really helped give off that "battle feel" and really amazed me as a child.

Also: Getting hit by Horn Drill. Enough said.

Believe me, it means a lot to know that someone can relate to Pokemon Stadium of all games and while it's hard to describe in words, it really does mean a lot so thanks a ton for that.

Most Nintendo games just make me smile.

Hard to find one where I just don't have fun. :)
