So how many of you have heard about the upcoming addition to the nintendo DS series, DSi? It's got camera, music, pictures, and can even hold your favorite files from your SD card. So why might you want to stick with the DS lite? Gameboy slot removed, and shorter battery life. Still, thats what I have my original DS for. Some of you might want to save up the extra 50 bucks for the new system. I hear you can even see other people via the INSIDE camera facing you during online play. Might be something to interest some of you. Go here for more info: http://www.nintendo-dsi.org/

And here is a review of the system: http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/10/new-nintendo-ds.html

That's stupid. It doesn't have backwards compatibility. It's one of those things that some weirdo would buy, like the 40GB PS3.

It looks interesting... But I still have a fully functional classic DS. ^^ I still play a GBA game every now and then so if that was gone... =/ (and maybe someday go back to a GBC game as well, hehe) I mean, the idea seems cool and all, but I don't think it's really necessary... I think Nintendo just wanted to step it up a bit for the portables because of the DSes success.

I also heard someone else saying, because of the SD card, it becomes even more prone to downloaded games and such (easier R4, hm?). =P We'll see how it goes...
