I've really been thinking about possible characters for Brawl, and I think NiGHTS would bring a great aspect to the game. First off NiGHTS is a androgynous character basically meaning both Female and Male character. NiGHTS in a nut shell is basically a purple jester that can fly.
I read in other post about " How would NiGHTS attack ? " Well...
NiGHTS attacks would be like no others, using "Paraloops" around characters this would seem like a hard move to pull off, making a complete loop around a character which making NiGHTS a unique character. (For those who do not know what a "Pareloop" is ["Paraloop" is a move preformed in the game where NiGHTS creates a loop around objects/enemies and they are sucked to NiGHTS, in other words is a gravitational pull towards NiGHTS]) In the game NiGHTS can preform aerial stunts, these stunts would lead to good basic attacks. Preforming them in the air would seem more effective and could possibly be more deadly. In the game NiGHTS has a move to spin and fly faster, I am not sure of the correct term for this but this move in the game just leads to more possibilities for attacks.
A Little more back round information...
Overall NiGHTS was a massive achievement, It was the hottest selling game on the Sega Saturn, (Released in 1996). Though many people may not have heard of the game in the United States, NiGHTS was HUGE in Japan.
Like in most other games NiGHTS has an enemy that is very identical to itself. The name is Reala, While NiGHTS was the cheerful servant of its creator (The Wizeman). Reala was also created by the Wizeman, but Reala is the Evil and cruel character and duels NiGHTS in the game. It is basically like "Shadow Sonic" compared to Sonic and complete identical except different colors, forces and feelings.
I know the fact that NiGHTS yet has not been in a Nintendo game, but don't fear a sequel to the first Nights Into Dreams, will be released on the Wii later this year, Called Nights Journey of Dreams.
I am just thinking that my man Tomoko Sasaki (The Music Producer creating music for Brawl from NiGHTS) will pull some strings for NiGHTS in Brawl.
