Hello, my name is Tragodile! I usually go by Trag or James whenever I talk with others. I recently came across this site after trying to find others to play with since I got back into playing Smash Bros again recently. After a lot of googling videos and seeing how fun it is to play more competitively with others I figured I'd search around to see if I can find players a bit tougher than my friends and improve my game overall. It would be nice to make some new friends who want to push themselves a bit more in the game and help me learn from my mistakes so I can trump my other friends, y'know? :p

In most versions of smash I am a HUGE fan of playing Yoshi or Jigglypuff. I learned a lot on both characters from a friend who plays competitively and it has helped my experience a lot enough to really make them both high up on my list of characters that I play the most. Otherwise people would usually see me playing Mario, since I picked him up in Brawl and have played him alongside the other two into Smash4.

Outside of Smash bros, I actually play Monster Hunter and Pokemon pretty frequently. I beat ORAS recently for Pokemon and started building up my first team to play against my online friends and I got to High Rank on Monster Hunter. Any assistance on either of those would be lovely. xD I'm also a big TV watcher and generally love getting recommended shows, be it anime or not. Most of the time it is anime that I watch but I've been keeping up with shows like Walking Dead, iZombie and Doctor Who. If you have a show that you absolutely love please recommend it to me. Just be careful if you don't see me for a few days afterwards since I tend to binge watch things.

Anyways, this seems a bit long now but I left the things I really wanted to at least be said in here since finding new friends are always nice, right? If you ever want to fight me you can hit me up on here or my Skype under the same name! I hope to have a great time on here!

Hello & welcome to Smashboards. Totodile, quite a little future destroyer once it evolves on Lvl 36 into Feraligatr. Finding tough friends is a good adventure. The journey often starts in the Smashboards jungle and it's many Smash geographical areas lol. If you like someone contact them or check out social groups members. You can contact them and request admitance Or just pick up a few good players and friends and for a private conversation. Visiting a character's thread often has a god result. You can find good people there for your mains. I don't watch tv almost never so can't give you any good shows at all. I also played pokemon competitively for a while. stopped on May 25 2014 when my fully complete pokemon X corrupted for pure fun out of nowhere. Complete I mean all mega, full dex, items, vivillon trades, shinies, 40+perfect bred. I lost all interest in building the game again after a lot lost. Still love pokemon but not gonna sink in AS the same 1437 hours of gameplay and effort I did in X. You don't play Splatoon? Sweet game although I don't have a WiiU. Anyways we all hope you enjoy the boards and get better. Good Luck.

My love for Totodile is great. If you see a James with a Totodile icon somewhere it might just be me. :p

Thank you for the welcome and the really nice personal post! Used to seeing a lot of copy pasted responses for these so it is nice to see a long post that comments back to basically everything I said! I'll definitely look around for people to help me learn my characters. Hopefully I can get the combos I know already down before I do!

Man that corruption must have REALLY sucked. I had about 500 hours into my Pokemon Gold as a kid with almost everyone pokemon caught (except for those legendaries that you couldn't get as a American whose family never travels) I remember the pain of losing a file like that. It was the reason I skipped the 3rd generation of pokemon for the longest time because I expected them to have the same problems as a kid.

I don't own Splatoon myself, but my best IRL friend has it and I play it often when he's asleep. His Wii U hates his wireless though and cuts out constantly so it makes playing it annoying when you are doing really well and then get kicked out from internet disconnections. Despite that, I loved using the Roller. Cheap I know but at least compared to most games it is counterable easy if you see them ahead of time. I hate people who use the Paint Brush though!

Haha. The paintbrush. Quite a fast weapon. Internet actually helped me complete X. I also completed the dex in Alpha but haven't played since January. Fearing it will corrupt for fun again.
Yeah it's a good idea to go around and find people to train and share. I did that. i have a few special friends.

Welcome to Smashboards! Nice icon. Good to know you watch TV a lot + play Monster Hunter and Pokémon. I rarely do those things. Especially the latter. Really bad at those games.

Fun fact: I used to play as Mario in Brawl, but I really sucked back then. Played a bunch of users online (like RadiatorRampardos from YouTube) and man, the lag was too strong. It was thanks to based Melee that I got better at the game. But that's another story. Either way, enjoy your stay.

Howdy, thanks for the welcome! I've honestly gotta start watching how much I watch since it screws with my sleep schedule xD Hopefully I can break the habit!

I can't exactly remember who I mained in Brawl. I know I used Jigglypuff a lot (learnt a lot by mirroring a friend), but I also played G&W and Mario on that too. I remember playing ZSS and Toon Link when it first came out, and switching between tons of characters the whole time.

I went and found that channel you mentioned. I liked a lot of the wifi battles he had! And he even had a bunch of Partners in Time music on his channel too! Made me want to play the game again haha. Do you still talk with him?

Either way, hope to see you around!

P.S. Dude you have a LOT of posts o.o

You're welcome. There's just so few TV shows I'm interested on. I don't watch anime. Used to, but was never into it. I just leave it on either as an ornament, or to play Wii U (or Wii).

I never had a "definitive" main in Brawl, so I just resorted to Mario as he is remotely the easiest character to play as. I tried characters such as Falcon with no luck. Based on the fact I play as Dedede in 3DS/Wii U, I may pick him up as a main, retrospectively. Sad thing is, almost no one plays the game at a competitive level apparently, so I can't proceed with the idea unless the game's community grows again.

RadiatorRampardos was a cool friend back in the good old YouTube days. He hasn't been active since 2012. He posted two comments in his own channel last year, but that's just to show he hasn't quit the site yet. I've recently stopped being active on YouTube ever since 2015 started, for the most part. I still check up notifications and comments relating to my channel daily. I had a lot of fun using the site back in 2010. Five years have passed since my arrival and it's not the same. I'm not active as much on my DeviantArt account, too, but I settled on using it as my signature because I had no idea what else to use as such.

Ehh, I have no idea how did I get to that amount of posts. Maybe either it was pure luck, discussing topics as a Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U social thread, or something else. Lol.
