Next time somebody posts a leak, ask yourself these questions:

1. Does the roster include Young Link listed as "Wind Waker" or "Cell Shaded"?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


2. Does the roster include any variation of Wolf Link or Midna?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


3. Does the roster exclude Shiek?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


4. Does the roster include an excessive amount of reps from a single game/franchise installment?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


5. Does the roster include characters of no major significance to the franchise?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


6. Does the roster include Ness?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.
-If the answer is no, the roster is fake.


7. Does the roster include characters that would reflect bad taste? (ex. Baby Mario Bros - Violence against infants. Think Snake's neck breaker)
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


8. Does the roster include a character that you never expected?
-If the answer is no, the roster is fake.


9. Does the roster include somebody you don't like or support?
-If the answer is no, the roster is fake.


10. Does the roster provide explanations of decisions (for both additions and removals) credited to the source?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


11. Does the roster include more than three Third-Party characters?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


12. Does the roster include many characters from the most recent franchise installment?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


13. Does the roster exclude a new character for deserving franchises? (ex Star Fox, Metroid)
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


14. Does the roster exclude a veteran without a replacement?
-If the answer is yes, the roster is fake.


15. Does the roster make everybody happy?

16. Does the roster include Yoda for the Xbox 360 exclusive and Darth Vader for the PS3 exclusive?

26. Is Bowser called "Koopa"?

27. If Jigglypuff is in the roster, does it call her "Purin"?

28. Do ZSS and/or Sheik have their own roster spots?

29. If there are images said to be from a Japanese player's guide, are the pictures in color?

I don't understand what that has to do with anything I posted. I never said a character like Pokemon Trainer would be excluded. Also, this is also a joke thread.

Thank you very much. Now if only everyone referred to this list before posting useless "OMGZORZ NEW PROPHET" topics. Especially that part about W.W. and Cel-Shaded Link. There is NO character in Zelda canon with the name "Windwaker Link" or "Cel-Shaded Link." It's just Young Link.

Why is Wolf Link w/ Midna a bad charecter? I remember coming up with a moveset for them once and it OWNED! They would've been my main if in Brawl with that moveset.

Sigh... If I gave a toaster an ownage moveset, does that mean it's a worthy character?

"Wolf Link and Midna" are meaningless to the Zelda franchise. Neither of them deserve any representation other than a trophy, which is where they realistically belong. They both starred in ONE game, in a HUGE franchise, that if they were removed from it wouldn't make the slightest difference.

Characters aren't added to the roster to represent one game, or just because they can have a workable moveset. Characters are added to the roster to represent an entire game franchise. I suppose if we have Wolf Link, we should also have Bee Mario.

Don't you understand that Wolf Link and Midna makes about as much sense as Deku Link and Tatl? The difference is what, a workable moveset? Because that's all you need to get into the roster, right?

Either you misunderstood my post(s), or you're a complete idiot.
-I said nothing about Young Link's importance, I said that Young Link is not named "Cell Shaded" or "Wind Waker" or even "Future" Link in the Zelda series. These are the names the Smash community has given him, not Nintendo. So, if there is a roster claiming that Young Link is in the roster and is named any of the three above if is fake.

If the roster includes Young Link, that doesn't make it fake. Only if the character is named as mentioned.

Most of this makes sense... but you don't get to decide if Midna's in the game or not.

I kind of understand the "Wind Waker" or "Cel-Shaded" Link comment, as he won't be called that in the game. Kinda the same with "Koopa" and "Purin".
