What do you think Tails or Knuckles chance of genuinely being added as a character?

Tails will probably not be imo, but I think that Knuckles is very likely.

Knuckles would most likely be a bonus character similar to how Falco is to Fox.

There are only three third party spots, already taken by Snake and Sonic, so I'd think Sakurai wants to add another series that ISN'T Sonic...

Just because Sonic is confirmed doesn't mean that (Insert random Sonic character name here) should be in.

I think that if Knuckles and Tails were ever playable characters in Brawl, it would be the poorest selling Brawl to date. Plus, Megaman fans would nuke Sakurai's appartment(full of cats). (It's true, in Wikipedia it says his apartment is full of cats)

ummm, no...there a much more deserving characters, such as ridley, krystal, or megaman( if were taking just 3rd party, then megaman or geno). Even if they had another sonic character, it would be shadow or tails, ecause they play much more important roles and tales is sonics useless sidekick.

Knuckles wouldn't get in before Tails. Don't try and say anything about moveset potential or fighting ability, because we all know that Tails is onic's number-one number-two. And three Sonic characters is ludicrous.

Where is everyone on these pulling these percents from? No one knows an accurate percentage of a character appearing as a PC in Brawl. It's next to impossible to do such an ambiguous thing.

...they couldn't be alts. You do know what they look like, right? And what their abilities are? Knuckles and Tails are too different from Sonic to be recolors.

Anyway, I personally like Knuckles more than even Sonic, but nobody else from the series has a chance. Too few 3rd-party characters are being let in, so theres no chance of anyone from the same series as another 3rd-party character getting let in over a bigger-name character from a different 3rd-party saga (see: Mega Man, Bomber Man, etc etc).

I do hope both Tails and Knuckles manage to net themselves a spot as Assist Trophies, which is infinitely more realistic, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much there either.

yeah Zevox that was what I was hoping, Knuckles has always been my favorite Sonic-Series character and IMO would be the most interesting Playable Character.

Your guess is as good as mine, but to me it's glaringly obvious they have no chance at all of being playable. Face it, the third party waters are ones we must go in slowly into. Maybe as ATs... but hell no, they couldn't work as alts.

Yeah, Knuckles has always been my number 2 favorite, but we need to be realistic. They're ATs at best.

Here's my order of probability for Sonic characters if for some reason we got more than just Sonic:

Tails (Sidekick, two of the Sonic big 3)
Knuckles (First Rival, three of the Sonic big 3)
Amy - (As important a character as the first two, but not a member of the playable big 3)
Shadow/Blaze/Metal Sonic - (Clone Rival, Alternate Reality Rival, Robot Rival, important but easily replaced.
Rogue/Gamma/Omega - (Rightly I just think they look cool)
Big the Cat/Chaotix crew/Everyone else - (These look cool, but not as cool)
