After Little Mac, the Punch-Out! series can be defined by one character: Bald Bull. Bald Bull is easily the most recognizable opponent from Punch-Out!, and has had the most video game appearances out of any of them. He first appeared in the arcade Punch-Out!, and then Punch-Out! for the NES, Super Punch-Out! for the SNES, and again as a cameo in the arcade game Arm Wrestling. Anybody who's ever played Punch-Out! will remember him and his famous 'Bull Charge'. Bald Bull has become somewhat of an icon in retro gaming, and I feel that he truly deserves to be in Smash Bros.

If Little Mac is indeed in SSBB, then Bald Bull does **** well deserve a spot too. He is a legend and a great opponent.

Though I can't picture another Punch-Out character in Brawl, Bald Bull seems to have a god chance.

Here is his appearance in the Punch-Out!! arcade, which came first, before the NES Punch-Out!! titles:

And here is what he looks like in the SNES Super Punch-Out!!:

Thanks parrothead. Bald Bull is a symbol of the Punch-Out! franchise. I'd even go so far as saying that he's almost more symbolic than Little Mac.

Also, here he is in his cameo in the arcade game Arm Wrestling.

Bald Bull is indeed awesome. I read somewhere that he was the rumored Punch-Out trophy that Sakurai had to cut from Melee. Wonder if that's true...

I already mentioned that. In fact, if you'll kindly look a few posts above yours, I also posted a picture. But thanks for the other pics.

Today seems to be punch out characters day. :) Either way I support bald bull like I would support almost anybody from punch out. Except Glass Joe. I hope no one makes a thread for him.

WOW, it all started with King Hipo, then parrothead came with Bear Hugger. I STARTED A TREND! At any rate, this is the list of Punch-Out!! Boxers I would like to se

1. Little Mac (either Version)
2. King Hippo
3. Dragon-Chan
4. Bald Bull
5. Bear Hugger
6. MIKE TYSON!

You're welcome...? But, that's what I was thinking too. Bald Bull is a video gaming icon of the NES era.

Why a boxer. I have to say no to this. A boxer even if he is a popular character doesnt seem like a fit in Brawl.

Now, I'm personally not for Bald Bull because: 1) I never really liked him in the Punch-Out games (mainly because he was so annoying, and I've always been iffy with his Bull Charge), and 2) There are other Punch-Out characters I would prefer to see before him (Little Mac, King Hippo, Piston Honda). But this has got to stop - and by "this," I mean these pointless posts by TBD and zombie. I meaned they joined within a day of one another, and are seen almost exclusively as a tag team. Are they the same person using two accounts so one can bolster the others unfounded disgust? I say unfounded because pretty much the only thing TBD posts is "how about no" or "just please no," while zombie sort of rearranges the concept (I'll use Bald Bull as an example) from "yeah, he's a boxer...he would be cool to have in Brawl" to "why a boxer? he wouldn't fit in Brawl." These posts are inane and mundane and must end ASAP. Start posting intelligently, and perhaps even for a reason other than putting down other people's suggestions with such uneducated posts. You don't have to agree with every idea, but if you disagree and wish to voice your opinion, for God's sake do it with a little bit of information, or at the very least with an informed opinion or one with a bit of substance. That or someone should just ban you for being postwhores. Either one works for me. =)

I know that Little Mac would come first, but Bald Bull is easily the most memorable and recognizable opponent from the Punch-Out!! games, wouldn't you agree?

 Is that an actual screenshot? Coming from a game based around Tingle, I wouldn't doubt it.

*superduperdoublepostlasercannongo!!!!*

Er... I mean *bump*

At any rate, as long as everybody's bumping all these Punch-Out! threads, I might as well throw my hand in, right?

Bald Bull might even have a better chance than Little Mac. Little Mac was just the generic protagonist that was used to represent yourself. The opponents in the Punch Out games always had more character than Little Mac.

I have mixed feeling though, because Little Mac knocked out Mike Tyson when Tyson was still in his prime. How many fictional video game characters can say they've done that?

I'd be fine with either Little Mac or Bald Bull, but I doubt both of them will get in.
