Newbie Question, Please Help?

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and also new to hacking the Wii.

I have installed the Homebrew channel and have also installed Gecko v1.9.3.1. The only problem is, when I load SSBB on Gecko there is just a black screen. I know it is to do with my texture hack code (my only code) as when I am running no codes Brawl works fine. I am a PAL user, by the way and I'm using this code:

How do you have your textures set up? What textures have you gotten?

A number of things can prevent your texture hacks from working. Are you using a USB drive or an SD card? What all is in the SD card or USB drive? Your .gct file and custom texture files need to be in specific folders and folderpaths in order for Gecko to be able to patch them. So on and so forth.

We need more information on what you are doing to be able to tell you what you need to be doing.
