So yeah I'm only a newbie to smashboards.
I've registered and posted on other forums before
I'm more casual than competitive but I would love to learn more of the competitive aspect.

So.... If I get SSB4:
I'll consider maining: Zero Suit Samus & Villager
To a lesser extent: Marth or Olimar
Last Resort: Pikachu

Yeah so do you guys know any threads that have a good analysis on the Villager as of right now?
And what do you guys think of the changes that have happened to Marth(shorter sword) and Olimar(3 pikmin)?

Hey!
you should check out the Smash 4 character boards. Activity in those is starting to pick up with people theorizing about stuff, I know at the least I've seen some good theorycrafting in the villager boards.

Marth - His shorter sword isn't too big of a deal to me since he still has nice range. It's more so how he seems to fit with the current engine for Smash 4. He's looking to be ground-orientated this go around and idk..seems a bit odd for Marth.

Olimar - Having only 3 Pikmin can be seen in both a positive and negative light. While it's a bit of a nerf since he doesn't have as much ammo (I consider Pikmin as ammo ), the Pikmin are definitely much more manageable, especially since they're plucked in a fixed order as well.
