Smash Rookie
Hi people from SmashBoards! I'm Riibber, as you can tell by my public username, and I have literally discovered the beauty of the competitive/hardcore world of smash like 3 days ago (as of 21/02/17, today), all thanks to the Smash Brothers documentary and the BEAST 7 league I watched!
I can only play melee and on dolphin, and due I live in Spain I used to have bad connection (well, at leasts some months ago, when I wanted to try smash online just for fun, to try it a little), so I was used to get rejected when I try to match up with someone ( sad face ), I don't really tried it with the 5.0 dolphin, nor the fast melee build, so I guess sooner or later I'll know if I lag or not again! And I do not have even a GC controller (but eventually I will, pretty probably starting summer holidays), but I sometimes hang out with a couple of friends who plays the sm4sh and we play together, so I know a bit of it too and I got the hang with the GC controller.
I am right now trying all the characters on melee, so I don't really main anyone, but I could say Falco is the one I am liking more the most.
I'd like to attend some locals tournaments but I cannot because there isn't a lot of smash movement here, but anytime soon I would like to get somewhere or play online matches and tournaments!
I am also interested on programming, game designing, and I am member of three different leisure groups (one of board games, another of anime and manga related stuff and the last one a cinema club; yeah, I am really into cinema, and again pretty new there, maybe a year or more) and I use to play a lot on battle.net and steam.
Hope we have cool matches and we have fun!
PD: I'ev just met the spanish smash forum and I am amazed of how active the smash scene is in my country! so I guess I am not that alone as I thought I would be
