New York, help me out!

Alrighty so.

I'm applying for an internship at Cornell University this summer for plant genomics. Before I do though, I'd like to ask some questions about NY and if you could help me out that'd be awesome! I'm fairly sure I'll get the internship if I apply, so any information you guys could give me would be awesome.

1) What's the weather going to be like? I'm from Colorado so harsh weather conditions are no problem.

2) Would it be smart to bring a car? Is it easy to get around in the city?

3) How close am I to other smashers, especially meleers? I LOVE melee, i'm not very good, but i'd still love to get destroyed. Brawlers i'd love to play too, either way.

4) Is the city super-scary? I've been in Denver quite a bit, but I know New York is pretty crazy in terms of people/sq mile, so yeah.

5) Is there anything you could just -say- about NY?

The city doesn't get so cold, but I would pack at least both a light and heavy jacket just incase. The last time I saw snow in the city would be late december to early january.

2) Would it be smart to bring a car? Is it easy to get around in the city?

That's a big NO. There is tons of traffic. You're pratically better off using public transportation (there's nowhere out of range of a train or bus)

There are smashers all around, just gotta look for them. Check the tournament listings to see if you can find anything.

It's not scary. Well it looks scary at night in some parts. It's just like everywhere else, just have some precaution when walking alone at night.

There's nothing to say when you're living the high paced life of a new yorker
