New Ways Of Playing Smash?

Recently I came up with the idea of doing a Nuzlocke run of For Glory. Basically, the rules are:
  • Start with the first character and go in order
  • If a character looses twice you have to move on to the next character
  • You can only battle the same person twice
If you want to see this in action click here for my For Glory Nuzlocke series on YouTube.
Please feel free to post any ways you like to play (weird wording there).

Why when they lose twice? Wouldn't it be, if they lose once they die?

And, just curious, why the restriction in battling someone multiple times?

If you SD or something you wont be completely penalized for that (reason for "two lives").
If you battle against someone much better than you or much worse, you wont have too much of an advantage/ disadvantage (reason for restriction in battling someone multiple times).

Luma Fight. Both players choose Rosalina and fight on to a relatively flat stage (platforms are fine, but the terrain shouldn't be too varied). Basically, you each stand on opposite sides of the stage and shoot the Lumas out to fight, but no attacking Rosalina, and no using Rosalina to attack. You can use Luma Shot as many times as you like to bring in/send out your Luma. Last Luma standing wins.

I'm yet to do this, but SLHG Mode (Smooth Lander Heavy Gravity) seems to have its establishment by altering character stats and air physics to be more Melee-like. All you need is to have Smooth Lander Boots equipped to every character and equip basic buffs for the stats that get deduced from equipping Smooth Lander Boots and play Special Smash with Heavy Gravity. Seems to nerf recoveries a bit too.

For character specific matches, I've been creating matchups in 8 Player Smash where I'll have characters introduced to the games fight each other. 64 Starter Roster, Melee Roster, Brawl Starter Roster, SSB4 Newcomers 1, SSB4 Newcomers 2, etc. You'll have to selectively choose which characters to allow though, as you can't fit even 1 game with all of them. Personally, if you were the first of your franchise and are not a clone, you get priority.
